Igor Šváby
Igor is a licensed attorney at law and a partner of the firm. Igor focuses on real estate law, labour law and bankruptcy and restructuring.
In addition, Igor has substantial experience in the fields of general corporate law, banking, and litigation.
Igor advised clients on several green field investments, mergers and acquisitions projects, and has assisted clients in a number of successful litigation and out of court settlements.
Igor speaks fluent English and French.

- advising a major Slovak real estate developer on the sale of its four logistics parks to a foreign investment fund
- advising several French and British car components producers in relation to their green field investment projects in Slovakia
- advising a German gear shift producer with respect to various state aid issues relating to its green field investment in eastern Slovakia
- assisting a major Slovak bank in the sale of its non-performing loans to a U.S. investment fund
- legal assistance to a major Slovak bank in relation to the preparation of standard loan and security documentation for its small and medium size clients
- advising a French broadcasting and radio communications company in relation to its participation in a public tender for the sale and purchase of a Slovak broadcasting and radio communications company
- advising an Irish insurance company in respect to employment matters relating to the establishment of a shared services and call centre in Bratislava
- advising a British investor in the acquisition of a Slovak airline company
- advising a French investor in relation to a real estate project of construction of several residential apartments’ houses in Western Slovakia
- advising a French construction company in relation to the qualification round for participation in a PPP Project of construction of highways in Slovakia
- advising a Polish bank in various matters regarding implantation of its branch in the Slovak Republic
- general legal advice to a Canadian automobile components producer in relation to its production facility in Slovakia
- advising a Slovak air line company in the restructuring procedure
- advising a Dutch metal parts producer in its informal debt restructuring
- advising a number of clients with respect to dispute settlements in various fields (mainly employment matters and debt recovery), including representation at court
